Trans-it AS Acquires Triangle Logistics, Expanding Presence and Capabilities in Rotterdam

Copenhagen, Denmrak – July 6, 2025 – Trans-it AS, a leading provider of global ship spares logistics solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Triangle Logistics B.V., a well-established logistics provider based in the Rotterdam area. Utilise our digital services and conveniently access our spares management system. Download our app from App Store or log in to our client web and stay updated on the current placement; all spares on stock, on the way to a vessel or inbound from a supplier.

We offer management reports on a monthly basis, and if you want to explore the details we can provide an analytical report in the area of your interest, either by print or supplied in Excel.

We also offer integration either through a purchasing platform like ShipServe or directly via various acknowledged management systems, ensuring real-time status on spares directly from our partners.

European Collection HUB ATH

We can now offer the European Collection Setup to main hub Athens in the Piraeus Free Zone. This should be an attractive addendum to the European Setup for the Greek ship owners. From PFZ we can either deliver directly to passing vessels or forward to other main delivery areas.

This service can also be combined with an inter-European Feeder Service to Algeciras or international to main hubs world wide.

Cooperation in ARA region

Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerpen. 

To strengthen our position in the most important logistics hub in Europe, Trans-it has joined forces with SSL in Rotterdam, a major player in barge services and port logistics in the ARA region.

“We, at Trans-it are honoured and delighted to announce this cooperation that will further strength our network and significantly increase our capabilities in the region,” says Igor Narvi, Business Developer at Trans-it AS.

ARA is by far the largest port-area in Europe, with more than 30.000 visits in Rotterdam alone, and needless to say crucial to have the right logistics capabilities in the area.

SSL is the most important player in the region and offers exceptional service when it comes to deliveries, port services and airfreight in and out from the area, to mention a few of their qualities.

Press release - PFZ imports

Last year COSCO and Trans-it joined forces to offer Greek ship owners a simplified process for VAT exemption. An integrated process in combination with new legislation made it possible for ship owners to move ship spares out of Greece with out the time consuming and cash flow limitations from earlier days.

This has proven to be a great success and many shipowners take advantage on the simplified and cost effective process.

Now COSCO and TRANS-IT can introduce the same procedures for importing goods. This will improve owners cash flow management by abolishing the VAT or Import Duties.
Exemption from VAT of goods destined for another EU Member State Goods shipped from countries outside the EU and located in the free zone are considered outside the customs territory of the EU, although naturally within it In the Free Zone, goods can be stored without VAT, excise duty or import duties on importation until their final destination is routed.
