Air freight

Updated March 26..

Important to understand is that the entire world is affected, not just separate locations / areas. The main impact is however still related to passenger flights. Some of the main countries presently affected are:

Greece, USA, S. Africa, Egypt, Japan, S. Korea, Italy, India, China, Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates.

Although these and other countries might have governmental restrictions for passenger flights, which e.g. can affect crew changes, etc,, airlines are trying to add freighter capacity, which normally are excluded from these restrictions. So although a certain country might be affected by passenger restrictions alternatives might be available via freighter services.

In addition we are trying to use Courier services when possible / feasible.

Kindly however keep in mind that demand is presently surpassing supply every where.

Updated March 16

Flights ex Europe and Asia into Panama have as of this weekend been temporarily cancelled by Panamanian officials. Interline agreement with cargo flights via Miami are possible but please expect significant longer transit times.
Flights ex China, S. Korea, Iraq, Iran, Italy and Hong Kong into the Netherlands have been temporarily suspended by Dutch officials. Cargo flights still operating.
In order to respond to the situation we are trying to switch more cargo via Courier services (where possible).

Updated March 12..

Capacity to / from China, Korea and Japan is still reduced due to passenger flight suspensions which in return also has an effect on other Asian countries. The lack of passenger flight capacity can presently not be absorbed by cargo flight capacity. Kindly still expect challenges with increased rates / delays to-from Asia. Although the situation with the Corona virus seems to stabilise in China there will still be a challenge with capacity.

USA has as of now banned all passenger flights ex Europe into USA for 30 days. Flights ex UK plus cargo flights are presently not affected by this ban. Although this might “only” seem to effect USA it might also have a negative effect on capacity to other regions due to the rotation of flights.
