Controlling “the last mile” has always been an important issue concerning the delivery of spare parts. One side of the task is the physical onboard delivery, which usually requires in-depth knowledge about local regulations and procedures. Another side of the task is to control the money flow and keep it transparent.
Our way of working is to smoothly bypass the chartered agent in order to avoid non-transparent indirect expenses suddenly appearing months after the completion of a job. We only use the services of our own nominated agents, thereby protecting shipowners and ship managers’ interests in every aspect.
